Barry Silverman is a Director of Strategy at InterbrandHealth. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy work of some of the group’s most prestigious accounts. Barry is a seasoned brand professional with a wealth of experience on both the agency side and the corporate branding side.
Barry has led numerous successful brand strategy engagements which included developing promises/positionings, solving brand architecture problems, implementing brand management systems, revitalizing brand experiences and overseeing identity projects which included naming, messaging, nomenclature, and visual systems. His strategy experience includes working with Medtronic, Time Warner Cable, Aflac, Rubbermaid, and Chase Bank.
His passion for brand and education has continued through teaching brand strategy for the last seventeen years at New York University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, the University of San Francisco, and the City College of New York.
Barry earned a B.A. in Economics and English at Rutgers University and holds an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
